Hey everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready for the week ahead of us. Today I’m bringing you an indie polish review - I Hate Pink. It’s a holographic pink glitter in a clear base, by Kae, an Etsy seller of The Hungry Asian.
I received this glitter polish within a week of making my order. Let me just say, super cute packaging. Here are a few photos…
As for the polish itself, it looked gorgeous in the bottle. I had to apply three coats to get it somewhat fully opaque, but then again, it’s like that with all glitter polishes.
Overall, I can’t say I fell in love with this polish, but I would still wear it every now and then. I found that having all of your nails painted with it was a bit too much for me. Formula wise, you definitely have to wait for layers to dry before painting on another coat. I found that applying some kind of base colour under it makes it much easier to work with because of the fact that you don’t have to apply as many coats. I ended up trying that out, and although you could see a little bit of the base colour, it wasn’t so bad.
You can get this polish and others at http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheHungryAsian for $9.25 a bottle (full size – 15 ml), or $4.50 for a 5 ml mini bottle.

I love everything about this polish— including the HK note!
