If you’re a nail junkie like me, you’d know that Essie is on a roll this summer. Introducing Essie: Mirror Metallics, the third summer 2012 polish collection, with five new classy shades.
To start this off, you only need one coat to cover the entire nail. More about the formula later…
Blue Rhapsody - This is one of the most unique in my opinion – a gorgeous metal blue.

No Place Like Chrome - Classy reflective silver.

Penny Talk - Bronze-like colour that actually reflects a penny. Cool, huh?

Good as Gold - This one is a pure golden metallic. Beautiful, no?

Nothing Else Metals - This is the perfect metallic lilac shade. Classy and gorgeous.

Overall: I have used many metallics in the past, and none of them seemed to impress me. Finally, Essie has done it for me. Great formula with only one coat for full opacity. When it comes to streakiness, it was manageable. The less strokes, the better. Colour-wise, each and every one of them was classy, yet edgy, and beautiful. If you haven’t given these a try yet, you’re missing out. Pick them up from your local drugstore, and let me know how you like them.
I would love to hear your thoughts on Essie’s Mirror Metallic summer 2012 collection. Which from the above caught your eye?
