Normally people have a few summer go-to polishes, but with me on the other hand, there’s an ultimate favourite. Earlier this summer, I posted a quick design using this polish, which you can find here.
China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy was in China Glaze’s Summer 2010 Poolside Collection. This summer was when I discovered this polish, and am I ever so glad I did.
Flip Flop Fantasy is described as a coral pink-neon creme, which is a great description for this polish. It is blindingly bright, which is the best part about it if you ask me.
Formula wise, it applied very smoothly and evenly with two coats (sometimes three if you aren’t careful), and dries more so on the matte side, as with most neons. You can wear it as is, or apply a top coat, which I normally prefer to do.
What’s even greater is that this polish can be applied on it’s own and still look great, or dressed up with a glitter-like polish. I decided to do just that on my ring finger (using Essie Luxeffects Set in Stones), which took this nail look to a whole new level.
Swatches time!
I would love to hear your thoughts on China Glaze’s Flip Flop Fantasy, as well as what you’re current summer go-to polish is.
