No better word to describe hot yoga.
I was blown away – especially because it was nothing like what I had expected.
The sweat pouring down your body and that burning muscle sensation… What more could you ask for?
First and foremost, the most important thing is to find a yoga studio that is popular amongst others, that you feel comfortable in.
What to Bring
- Yoga Mat
- Water Bottle
- Two Towels
What to Wear
The number one thing is to wear something you are comfortable sweating in – because believe me, you will sweat buckets. Wearing something tight fitted is the way to go when it comes to yoga. It is helpful because you are able to see your body in the mirror, and see if you can correct any posture issues. Yoga pants and a racerback tank work great for this.
How to Prepare
Avoid coming in on a full stomach. Trust me, that is not a good idea. Also, make sure you are well hydrated, to prevent any dizziness and such. Last but not least, you will want to arrive about 15 minutes before your class to get settled. If you are late, you may risk missing out on the class!
Great, you made it! So how do you feel now? You want to make sure to drink plenty of water to hydrate yourself.
Until next time!
