Mani Monday ;; Ombré Nails

Ombré patterns are in this season, especially when it comes to nails. I’m sure you’ve seen them around everywhere, whether it be done with similar colours or contrasting colours. A while back, I did a tutorial on gradient nails, which you can view here. You can follow that to achieve this ombré nail look here. The only big difference is that I applied Misa’s Pay Days are Happy Days as the base instead of a plain white, and then sponged on China Glaze’s Liquid Leather when the base was completely dry.

Here are the photos for the final look…

Products Used:
Makeup Sponges
Pro FX Complete 3 (Base Coat)
China Glaze Liquid Leather
Misa Pay Days are Happy Days

  1. I attempted this…and let’s just it was a disaster. The cosmetic sponge I used kind of disintegrated on the first nail and the rubbery fluff was stuf to my fingernail. So from here on out I’m just not going to bother with nail art aside from using my dotting tool. I really wish it had worked out though because I love how it looks.

    • It might be the sponges that you used… Don’t give up, find a way to make it work! Try doing it with the little eyeshadow sticks. I’ve used them before, and you get a similar effect. Give it a shot and let me know how it works for you!
