Let me start off by saying that I’m not one to wear lipgloss that often. Why? I can’t stand the sticky feeling of it on my lips. To keep my lips hydrated, I resorted to using chap stick. My only issue with that is it didn’t give much of a gloss or hint of colour on my lips. With summer here, I wanted something that would make my lips pop rather than look just pale.
According to Rimmel, the Moisture Renew Lipgloss that is available in 14 shades reduces lip dryness up to 95 per cent. To me, that sounds too good to be true. But hey, don’t judge till you try it!
I tried out Rimmel’s Moisture Renew Lipgloss in Berry Bliss. It looks natural on the lips, which is definitely a plus for me. It has a little bit of shimmer in it, but nothing too crazy.
It’s a lightweight gloss that feels smooth on the lips. I was very pleased with the fact that it is non-sticky, and doesn’t dry out within minutes. What’s great as well is that this lipgloss has SPF 15, which is great with summer here.
As for wear-time, I get about an hour and a half or so out of it, before I have to re-apply it lightly. Overall, Rimmel’s Moisture Renew Lipgloss makes my lips feel incredibly soft. I would recommend this for someone who is tired of their hair sticking all over their lips, or is simply looking for a hydrating lipgloss for an affordable cost.
