“Red nails are the epitome of glamour, and this fall OPI is adding two dazzling reds to the Designer Series line,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director, in an OPI press release. “With vivid colour and intense shimmer and shine, these lacquers create a bold, high-fashion accessory statement. DS Indulgence provides a deeper, classic red look, while DS Luxurious incorporates rich auburn pigments.”

Overall: The two new shades in the Designer Series line are both captivating and edgy with class at the same time. Free of DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde, these nail lacquers apply smoothly and easily with OPI‘s exclusive ProWide brush. The result? A gorgeous and unique manicure. 1. These are actually much less snoozy than I though they’d be. There’s no way I’m paying $15 for OPI but I do think they’re pretty and the diamond dust does give them a pretty finish. Thanks for sharing! Also- did you mean to say SH PR sent these to you? I’m guessing it was a little typo, but if not I wanted to ask if they’re owned by the same company. It’s amazing how incestuous companies can be.

  2. The first one looks a bit like China Glaze’s Riveting from the Hunger Games collection, just not so orange. They actually remind me of a lot of the Zoya glass fleck polishes. Maybe if I didn’t have a few bottles of things similar, I would get them, but they’re a little boring compared to what’s out there already. Wish they’d do the holo DS polishes again, that’d be awesome! Signature is still my favorite OPI DS!
